Monday - Tour of Glenn Curtiss Museum and Bully Hill Winery
Louisa Mesich sent me a photo of the Highway sign announcing the imminent end of her long drive with Larry from Signal Mountain, TN to Corning.
Although the 2017 ACGA Corning Convention doesn't officially start until Wednesday 7-12-17, there are always a small group of glass folks who wander in early to partake of the local surroundings and to go on the special tours provided.
This year the first of the two special tours was held and it included a bus trip to the Curtiss Museum and several wineries located on Keuka Lake, north of Corning.

Looks GOOD to me!
Some of the people I recognize in these pictures are Bill & Joan Watterson, Joe & Ila Lemon, Rich and LindaJo Hare, Jane Hawkes Levatino, Ethel Girvin and Bud & Dianna Norton. For those of you who are in the pictures but not named, please stand up and smile when you see Louisa taking a picture.
All pictures shown above were submitted by Louisa Mesich.
Tomorrow is DORFLINGER DAY, with trips to both the Dorflinger Glass Museum and to the Dorflinger Factory Museum in the White Mills area. There should be some pretty good pictures of glass in tomorrow's email.
Have a Good Night and enjoy your glass!
