014. Tusks Plus: Origin Unknown. This pattern, unidentified, is illustrated in Pearson's ENCYCLOPEDIA (Vol. 1, p. 120), but Pearson's photograph does not show the detail that can be seen in the following images. The cut-glass style on this item appears to this writer to be more European -- probably Belgian or French -- than American. Compare the many illustrations in the compilation catalog published by the ACGA in 1998: CRISTALLERIES DU VAL SAINT-LAMBERT. Punch bowl, D = 12.25" (31.1 cm), H = 5.75" (14.6 cm). "In perfect condition with only a fleabite or two." Offered at an eBay auction in 2006. Bidding stopped at $577.89 at which time it failed to meet the seller's reserve. (Images: Internet)
