During the 1980s the writer routinely canvassed an area within 150 miles of Rhode Island in his search for American cut and engraved glassware worthy of purchase for re-sale. This activity also produced other items of collectible glass, some of which provided material for articles that the writer thought might be of interest to other dealers/collectors. Some of these articles are reprinted here, including those that appeared in Glass Collector's Digest, a magazine that unfortunately cased publication at the turn of the twenty-first century. The reprinted articles have not been edited, aside from correcting obvious errors.
